Today we are glad to introduce to our community a new free module: «Belvg_AutoLogin». In future this module will help us demonstrate how our modules work. The idea of this module is that it allows users to test modules, which are installed on our demo-shops, without creating accounts. Using the form, shown below, users can log into the demo-shop under a profile of some other user, who have already been registered in the system.
Did you know that an average developer wakes up at 07.50am, works for 8 hours 57 minutes and goes to sleep at 10.54pm? 65% of programmers drink coffee and 45% do exercises, they code for 2+ hours and e-mail for 54 min per day. There was one good reason to know developers around you better this week, if there were any; on the 12th of September we’ve celebrated Programmers’ Day. In spite of a good occasion for hanging out and partying, BelVG developers pulled themselves together and created a great PrestaShop Presentation Page module for you. The extension allows demonstrating store’s key products, fresh items or any supplementary information to new coming visitors on a visually appealing presentation page.
Meanwhile, this weekend BelVG team hits the road to Kyiv, Ukraine to participate in MageConf. For the third year in a row, this conference brings together the Magento Development Team and the best of PHP and Magento developers from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and other countries of CIS. According the official Magento Blog, this year Magento developers will present the latest developments of the Magento platform and X.Commerce fabric and address the non-trivial solutions of practical problems faced by most developers. We’ll be back on Monday morning, all rested and experienced, to release a couple of stunning extensions in the nearest future.
