BelVG continues tracing statistics within PrestaShop module categories. October has arrived and it means none other than a new portion of numbers to compare.
We remember how Presta addons were ambushed by a merciless cleanup back in May. After summer lull with all the slowness and vacations, permissive philosophy and lack of significant changes, September came as a bombshell: strict review policy got back on track.
However, early October stats may be a cause for optimism: the amount of modules in all categories has increased. The highest growth rates are predictably demonstrated by Front office features (+ almost a hundred) and Administrative tools (+50) categories – the same ones that were most affected by the September policy of filtering & sanitizing.
