No doubt your Prestashop store design is great. However, tastes differ and it’s hardly possible to satisfy everyone. Background Switcher module solves the problem: visitors will customize your store style themselves as easy as one click! In addition, admin can set own backgrounds for catalog and product pages.
After the module installation, a cute label appears on the left side of the store pages. The user clicks it to open the patterns tab with background thumbnails, chooses the one and it is set instantly. Site design is now all new and lovely for this customer.
In the demo back-office, navigate to Modules –> Front Office Features –> Background Switcher -> Configure.
Select the tick to enable the switcher. In the Available patterns area, view the uploaded patterns thumbnails. To delete patterns, select the respective checkboxes.
In the New pattern area, upload the pattern.
To set the background image for the product page, go to
Catalog -> Products -> Edit (edited_product_name).
In the left column, proceed to the BelVG Background pages tab. In the tab you can view the current pattern for this product page. To upload a new pattern, click Select and choose the respective image. Save the selection.
To set the background image for the catalog page, go to
Catalog -> Categories -> Edit (edited_catedory_name).
In the Image area, upload the pattern. Save the page.
There is no Background Switcher label on the pages with the patterns, pre-selected in the back-office. Users cannot use the switcher on these pages.
