How To Add The Dynamic Remarketing Tag To Your Magento Store

We would like to share a new module we have just recently created with the community.

One of our customers wanted to run an Advertising campaign using the new Google Adwords features which are not yet included into the default Magento module Google API.

We were asked to add Dynamic Remarketing code on all pages of the website. This feature lets you reach your past site visitors with ads that show the specific products people viewed on your site.

Here you can find more about it.

You can download this module via the following link.

  1. Hello, I have installed your module and is very good. The only thing is the code is placed in the head section instead of the tag and google doesn’t like that. Do you know how can I move it in the correct position?

    Thank you

  2. Hello, my magento’s version is still 1.4.2.0. Can this extension work on it? I need it very much. I have tried myself to add the remarketing code but it doesn’t work properly.

    Thank you

    Andrea

  3. Anirudh,

Unfortunately, I have not seen this module, because the article was published almost a year ago while the module could have appear later. We will not put up this module on Magento Connect because it has not been tested for all versions and our users are not familiar with it.

  4. Hello Alex,

Would it be possible to put up your Module on the http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect website.

Secondly, have you seen this module: http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/anaraky-gdrt-google-dynamic-remarketing-tag-for-magento.html. It is a similar one.

Finally, now there are two methods of implementing the Google Remarketing Feature:

    1. Via the Google AdWords Dynamic Remarketing Code (as you have done so)
    2. Via the Google Analytics Dynamic Remarketing Code (a feature that is less discussed on many formus).

It would be great to set it up via the second method. Here is a link to help you out: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/3455600?hl=en

  5. Jacco,

We do not guarantee the that it is compatible with 1.9 version. If you have problems with any particular version, please, contact our support team at [email protected] for solution.

  6. just installed the file into my 1.9 test enviroment, but can’t see the tabs in Google API.

does it still work in 1.9?

  7. Gоnzаlо,

This module was used in the Community version, unfortunately I do not know about similar module for the Enterprise version.

  8. Good afternoon,

I would like to ask if this module has been created for Community o Enterprise version. In case it’s just for Community, do you know any other module for Enterprise?

    Thanks a lot!

  9. Simon,

Thank you for your feedback. I will try to upload modules on GitHub. One of our clients had one of Fooman modules for Google Analytics installed, but it did not have the necessary features, so, most probably that was an old version.
