Magento Theme Implementation for Multipower
About Multipower
Multipower is a German sports nutrition brand of Genuport. It offers high-quality protein powders, bars, and shakers for building muscle, losing weight, and supporting a healthy diet. The brand caters to B2B and B2C customers, having two separate websites for each type of business.
About the Project
The previous B2B online store theme was outdated, so the client wanted to change it. They got a new Tomac theme to improve the site’s navigation and implement new features.
Installing it without professionals could lead to compatibility issues and data loss. It could also impact conversion rates, as key features like product filtering and checkout could stop working correctly. As a result, the bounce rate and cart abandonment could increase with visitors quickly leaving the site.
To install the theme properly, Multipower contacted us to help change a new Magento theme. The project’s main goal was to migrate the store without data loss.
In addition to the main task, we also performed some the following ones:
- Migrating two order management systems for logistics and data
- Adding some modules for media content
- Implementing product page, B2B and marketing features

New Theme Implementation
Our client purchased the Tomac theme and requested customizations to better suit their needs. We began by installing the new theme and integrating the necessary features.
One key element was a Magento content constructor. It is a tool that allows easy page building and customization. The client’s previous theme used a different content constructor since the project was developed before Adobe Commerce Page Builder was available. So, we made both systems work together in the new theme and Magento version. It allowed seamless content migration from the old theme’s pages to the new ones without data loss.
In addition to this, we installed several essential modules, including a menu, reviews, static blocks with pre-built elements, and more. After setting up the theme, we adjusted the images and text to fit the new layout. As a result, our team successfully migrated the theme and launched the site within a month.
B2B Features
The B2B website was the main store for our team to work on, and we implemented the following features for better order management and user convenience.
Central ordering of the headquarters
BelVG added a feature via a module for Adobe Commerce B2B. It was designed to accommodate large clients. For instance, a business owner with multiple stores across different cities can delegate the responsibility of placing orders to designated individuals at each branch. These individuals would initiate the orders in Multipower, and the owner would approve them. Using the admin panel, the owner can log in as a user, review the baskets of each branch, and submit requests.
Media-Center Integration
This integration was installed as a gallery of static data that can be used on third-party sites. B2B site users can download images of products or the Multipower’s logo in different formats that are more convenient for use.
Internal Order Numbers on Invoice for a Client
This feature uses the SAP platform, which assigns unique identifiers to each order. It assists in logistics management in Multipower by storing information about B2B users, creating price policies for them, and generating a number that links offline and online orders from the same B2B users into one ecosystem.
Third-party Integrations
The client uses two systems that should be integrated with the new theme of the website:
- The SAP system is installed to manage logistics and create orders. When a customer makes an order, information about it is transferred to the SAP system. Based on the location data of this user, the SAP system offers delivery time of the order. The system contains all Multipower products’ basic information, such as name, price, quantity, and description, to calculate the number of remaining goods in the warehouse.
- Synfoxx is a data management platform. In addition to basic product information in SAP, Synfoxx contains pictures and some attributes of Multipower products. We made minimal improvements and edits, as the platform had already been integrated. Therefore, we only updated it to the newest versions and added new APIs since the system doesn’t stand still and is still developing.

Modules for Media Content
Multipower created all the website media content by themselves. Our task was to place this content in the appropriate blocks so the admin could locate it logically and conveniently on the front end. Here are the features we have implemented:
- Daily Deal Teaser is part of the page builder functionality used in the previous theme. It functions as a widget that displays user content on the front end in a carousel, daily offer, or 3- or 4-column layout.
- Show Quick View is a module that allows users to see a brief overview of a product without visiting the product page. The admin can customize the content in the pop-up window through the admin panel. Our team also made some design adjustments to this pop-up based on the client’s needs: color scheme, fonts, styles of buttons, and elements as parts of the corporate identity.
Product Page Features
As the company sells fitness supplements, every product should provide nutritional information so users can easily understand how it will be absorbed, its composition, usage instructions, and nutritional value. The values in the nutritional table may vary depending on the additives contained in the product. For example, each product contains different proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. The admin can enter and change this data in any product.
The admin can also set the minimum and maximum number of products that can be purchased. Our team added the possibility of configuring this function via the admin panel. For example, if bars are sold to B2C customers, they can be bought apiece. However, B2B customers can only purchase it in boxes of 15 bars.
Despite appearing as one box for B2B users in their carts and product pages, the client’s internal system counts the bars individually to avoid confusion when packaging orders.
Marketing Features
Our team helped to add some marketing features for Multipower. We integrated a Pop-Up-Banner to build client databases, increase cart usability, and boost website traffic. The Pop-up has a promo banner, coupon code, and email newsletter subscription. Customers who enter their email addresses get 10% off on the first order.
We also transferred ecommerce data to Google Analytics 4. Ecommerce data includes customer data, what products they add to their carts, customers’ shopping behavior, etc. Our team configured it for an online store and added several new features from GA4. This way, data from the site will be collected more correctly, and it will be easy to analyze to find growth points.
